Cognitia is an educational practice app for iPhone and iPad. This privacy policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Information We Collect
At this time, Cognitia is designed to work without account creation and without collecting personal data for our own storage or tracking.
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use advertising SDKs.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Microphone and Speech Recognition
If you choose to use Answer by Mic:
- The app requests microphone access.
- The app requests speech recognition access.
- These permissions are used only to support spoken answer input inside the app.
If you do not grant these permissions, you can still use other parts of the app.
Imported Files
If you use Import Packet:
- The app only accesses files that you explicitly select using the system file picker.
- Imported packet text is used to create practice packets inside the app.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share personal data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Data Retention
Cognitia is currently designed to operate locally on your device. If this changes in the future, this privacy policy will be updated.
Children's Privacy
Cognitia is an educational app, but it is not currently represented here as a Kids category app on the App Store. Parents and guardians should review the app and device settings to decide whether the app is appropriate for a child.
Changes
